This summer we had an amazing opportunity to work with some of the best wedding vendors around (including Cocoa & Fig, Spruce Flowers and Home, Paperista, Lime Canary Vintage Rentals, Larissa Loden Jewelry, Bridal Accents Couture, & Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios) to create a library-themed inspiration shoot with a colorful, modern twist.  To see so much creative genius in one place, my eyes nearly exploded with delight. It has been impossible to keep our excitement about the project under wraps, but today is finally the big reveal… An enormous thanks to Abby & Emilia Jane at Style Me Pretty for sharing the images, and to all the talented individuals who contributed to the shoot!  Promise to share a few more images here soon,

We completely adored the sweet simplicity & elegance of Charley & Anna’s wedding this summer!  During their dating days, they spent so much time just hanging out at the lakes in South Minneapolis, so an outdoor ceremony in the Peace Garden at Lake Harriet was the perfect setting for them to exchange their vows. Afterward, they kicked off a beautiful party in the Chalet at Theodore Wirth Park. Every bit of the day was so personal and meaningful–their dear, talented friends & family contributed in every way imaginable to play music, officiate, and make all of the reception decorations. Even Anna’s dog Benny rose to the occasion and posed for some photos as the official wedding doggy. 

Side note: Admittedly, I’m not normally a dog-fanatic, but I was exceptionally smitten with Gentle Ben and would not have minded doing a little dog-sitting while Anna & Charley escaped on their ah-mazing honeymoon to the Greek Isles.

Kaylynn & Lee are an absolutely adorable couple!  Their engagement session was on one of the most dreamy summer nights Southern Minnesota has to offer.  We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous sunlight, calm lake shore, bright green prairie, and most of all their radiant love for each other. Seriously. Could they be any more head-over-heels in love!? We’ve had a wonderful time getting to know them over the past few months & hearing all about their big plans for their October wedding (of which we cannot wait to be a part)!
