He proposed with a Snapple cap.
How sweet is that?  Andrew works for an ad-agency and is the king of clever ideas.  It turns out, he is pretty crafty too…He swapped out the fun fact in a bottle of Andie’s favorite flavor, and had the perfect proposal message stealthily sealed inside. Andie loooves her Snapple, and during an impromptu picnic last July, she grabbed the bottle, and before sipping, began her ritual of flipping the cap to find a fact; and instead found the most heart-melting words and the love of her life with a diamond in-hand.  {AwWwww!}
And thanks to the Snapple cap trick, we had the awesome opportunity to meet this incredible, adorable couple and shoot their engagements last month…and wedding next year!!  Andie & Andrew are the most happily in love duo on earth and we couldn’t have asked for a more golden place & time to capture their story.

Happy 11.11.11! I so wish I had been keeping an eye on the time earlier to snap a quick photo of where & what I was doing at 11:11 this morning.  Oh well. There will always be 12.12.12.
Quick before the weekend, it seems only fitting to post a wedding from another awesome date this year–9.10.11!  Amy & Mike are such a fun couple and we were so blown away by all the work they did between their engagements & wedding day to spiff up their family farm!! We adored all of the cutesy hand-painted signs on raw wood.  So perfect for this rustic farm wedding!  Amy is an amazing hair stylist & salon owner (in fact–that’s how I met her!), so it was no surprise when her breezy curls at the ceremony switched into an effortless up-do when she arrived at the reception.  Congrats A&M!  So excited for your happily ever after…

The most wonderful thing about photography season slowing down is that there is more time for staying cozy inside and crafting. Today I am SO excited to announce a completely awesome project I have been working on with my ridiculously creative friend Amanda. Happy Day!!
Since we both believe that the best gifts in life are thoughtful and handmade, we decided to get together to teach & inspire others to give simple, handmade gifts this Christmas!  We are hosting GIVE CRAFTY, a full-day workshop at my house in December, where 25 creative ladies will get together and make 6 pretty projects, eat waay too many Christmas cookies, and just enjoy some fun, creative holiday stress relief. Plus, we will share some lovely wrapping techniques that will put Santa (& Martha) to shame. ; )

I hosted a little something like this last year, and felt amazingly blessed by everyone’s enthusiasm from start to finish…But let me tell you right here and now; there is no comparison to the loveliness we have in store this year!!
