Hooray–after 7 ferociously long months of winter it is FINALLY beginning to feel like true springtime in Minnesota!  I will never forget this year’s MAY snowstorms.  Sheesh, the buds & birds outside our window are more refreshing than any springtime ever before!  And to celebrate the sunshine and seventy degree weather, we thought we’d share an equally refreshing spring brunch created and styled by the amazing Confetti Pop girls.  We are so honored to have had these images featured recently on the Everygirl blog!

We had a wonderful opportunity to recently photograph the lovely Mykala & the amazing floral art of our new studio partner Tara Bailie, owner of A Day in Provence.  Tara’s floral design is always whimsical and beautifully inspired by the time she spent living in Europe.  We simply adore her style and are thrilled for her new venture, opening up our shared studio space in North Minneapolis for occasional sales of handmade & vintage goods.  The very first A Day in Provence Vintage Pop-Up Shop is happening this weekend (March 16-17), and you’re invited to come have a look around! We’re really grateful to these two cuties for being a part of an inspirational shoot showcasing the fabulous work of Amanda Rydell, one of our new studio partners! Amanda has crazy creative skills and did an amazing job of styling all of this eye candy. (Are those pastel paper fans not to die for!?) She is the designer of My Little Dear kids’ goods, where she creates the cutest ever felt head bands, clips, and more! Amanda is also the driving force behind Be Crafty Workshops, which are ongoing creative get-togethers based out of our North Minneapolis studio, bringing together & inspiring crafters of all skill levels—even those who don’t consider themselves crafty.  These workshops are open to the public and we would LOVE to have you and your friends join us for one soon! Private girls’ night workshops & kids’ birthday parties can also be arranged. (:

A few months ago, Jeff & I had the opportunity to jet-set to Vegas and check out WPPI for the first time.  It was an awesome experience, but during our 3-day stay, I felt so grateful to step away from the crazy strip, meet some amazing new photographer friends, and be a part of this glitzy golden shoot planned by Melissa Schollaert & the talented girls at Scheme Events. The shoot took place at the swank Barrymore, a new restaurant with a glamorous old-school Vegas vibe.  Enjoy!
