We are SO excited to announce that we are now offering a fresh & fun PHOTO BOOTH option as part of our wedding services!  Lately, we’ve had lots of our fabulous brides & grooms interested in this possibility, and so we finally put our heads together and came up with a plan to rock your wedding photo booth in a totally unique way! So…How does it work, you ask? We’ll bring the lights, the camera, and the action, and set up a mini portrait studio at your reception or dance, complete with a quirky collection of props for you and your guests to have & to hold in the photos. For starters, we’re keeping it simple with two really lovely backdrops to choose from:1. Gray Honeycomb       |   2. Robin’s Egg Damask
{OR} If you’d rather, we can select or design something completely custom to match the aesthetic of your day, because that sort of thing is really important to us.

In return, you’ll receive fantastic photos of your guests, with personalities aglow. You’ll get all the digital photos on a disc, as well as a web gallery for you and your guests to order prints.

Annnd, if you’re dreaming of sending your guests away with a novelty on-the-spot print, we can do that too!!  We’ll bring along that adorable little white instant-print camera (above) and shoot some polaroid-style film on the side:

Spring is in the air! Join us on Sunday April 22nd at our natural light studio in northeast Minneapolis. We’ll spend 40 minutes together, plenty of time to snap a few shots both indoors and outdoors. The last few weeks have been a little topsy-turvy for us, but a few pieces of happy news in our mailbox have brought huge smiles to our faces!  First of all, it was a tremendous honor to be featured in Minnesota Bride for the first time, not once, but TWICE!!  This was a huge goal of ours, and I may have done a little jumping up and down to see Bridget & Andrew‘s gorgeous farm wedding + our Library Love inspiration shoot in print. If you haven’t flipped through it yet, you definitely need to pick up this issue, Spring/Summer 2012, on newsstands. Our work aside, this magazine is seriously packed with so much eye-candy, you’ll be blown away!

AND one more thing.  This is seriously the sweetest thank you we’ve ever seen from a client.  Apparently 3-year-old Nola had such a blast at her family’s photo shoot last week that she went home to create Jeff’s likeness in crayon. It just can’t be beat:  Doesn’t he look so great in a dress!? So cute! Thanks Nola!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be making an appearance plus speaking on the photography panel at the next Twin Cities Independent Wedding Fair: Saturday February 11 at Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis!  Unlike big box bridal fairs, this fair is all about connecting you with quality vendors who are friendly, knowledgeable people, who genuinely love working with brides & grooms!
