The brief stretch of time when the sun is low in the sky, just ready to slip below the horizon and kiss the world goodnight, is our favorite time of day. This magic hour is filled with the most abundant, soft, beautiful light, which makes everything it touches 100x MORE warm and lovely. I want to drink it up.

We love it when our couples make a little time to sneak away from their celebration (perhaps between their dinner and dance) to take advantage of this light and create sunset photos with us. Not only is the light divine, but brides and grooms are more relaxed and carefree, once all of the pressure of the day is off, and it totally shows. These often are the best images of the day.

It was such a thrill to share this special time with Breanne & Jon on their wedding day. We had such a blast at their perfect farm wedding and cannot wait to share more of the sun-soaked loveliness!
