Christmas came a little bit early for us, when the premier issue of Flea Market Style Weddings magazine hit newsstands a few weeks ago! The instant it arrived on our doorstep I excitedly dived into its lovely pages and squealed with delight when we found the fabulous Clare & Tom named “Best DIY Wedding” and their dreamy vintage-chic day featured in an 8-PAGE spread!! It is always a huge thrill for us to see our work in print, but it seemed extra sweet to be a part of this BRAND NEW and lavishly inspiring magazine. Even more so for the bride, Clare, who has been working feverishly to launch her new business, the Red Bench Vintage Event Rental & Design!  She is beyond amazing and we know her great eye and planning skills will take her far.  If you’re looking for help with your vintage inspired event, you should definitely look her up!!
I so wish I could share a deeper peek at the latest FMS Weddings spreads here, but the content is so top-notch that you, 2013 brides, lovers of vintage, & DIYers—you must pick up a copy and hunker down with it and a cup of tea ASAP. It is brimming with beauty.

I’m short on words to express how much I loved being a part of this wedding, yet all I can do is gush: Absolutely everything about it was so sweet, clean, and beautiful. Stunningly beautiful. This day was a dream come true for Clare & Tom, who snapped up a last-minute opening at the Enchanted Barn and planned this entire, gorgeous day in just 3 months!! (Superhuman!) When Clare first got in touch with us those few short months ago, we had to stop and pinch ourselves—we had been dying for a chance to shoot at this venue and were absolutely thrilled that she and Tom picked US to capture the breathtaking day they created there with their family and friends!  Clare is an amazingly talented lady, who has a side gig of selling vintage goods and designing jewelry.  So when it came to her wedding, every last detail was perfectly planned and accented with her fabulous collections of antiques.

Seeing the light flood through the sides of the barn and the breeze dance with the white curtains, literally made me weep for beauty before Clare even walked down the aisle. It was all so heavenly. I say this every, single, time–but I feel so blessed and privileged to have this job and to be so intimately involved with the most beautiful people, places, and things on earth. Congrats Tom & Clare on your lovely new life together!
