The last few weeks have been a little topsy-turvy for us, but a few pieces of happy news in our mailbox have brought huge smiles to our faces!  First of all, it was a tremendous honor to be featured in Minnesota Bride for the first time, not once, but TWICE!!  This was a huge goal of ours, and I may have done a little jumping up and down to see Bridget & Andrew‘s gorgeous farm wedding + our Library Love inspiration shoot in print. If you haven’t flipped through it yet, you definitely need to pick up this issue, Spring/Summer 2012, on newsstands. Our work aside, this magazine is seriously packed with so much eye-candy, you’ll be blown away!

AND one more thing.  This is seriously the sweetest thank you we’ve ever seen from a client.  Apparently 3-year-old Nola had such a blast at her family’s photo shoot last week that she went home to create Jeff’s likeness in crayon. It just can’t be beat:  Doesn’t he look so great in a dress!? So cute! Thanks Nola!

Every little bit of Karla & Andrew’s casual lakeshore wedding in Northern Wisconsin was complete loveliness. I truly admire the simplicity of this day.  Karla is an incredible DIYer and pulled so much of this day together with her own two hands–her hair, her flowers, plus everyone else’s hair & flowers!  These two are an amazing couple–bursting with life and so fun to hang out with.  Congrats K & A!  And on a completely unrelated note, I am so jonesing for a woodshed like this in my own backyard.  Don’t you think it’s fabulous?

In case the crimson leaves and green grass are not a dead giveaway, I’m here to confess that I may be a smidgen behind in the blogging department. Last October, we spent a wonderful evening getting to know Kristin & BJ–the sweetest, most down-to-earth-couple–shooting their engagements at Loring Park in Minneapolis. When we met up, they had their fuzzy little pup in tow, a pocketful of treats, and we thanked our lucky stars for the opportunity to capture them all together in the most gorgeous of sunlight! I adore the colors from this shoot–Kristin’s red & white striped top was the perfect punctuation to the fall colors.
